It is with deep humility and a profound sense of responsibility that I assume the role of Chairperson of the Dogra Educational Trust following the passing of our revered Founder and Chairman, Th. Gulchain Singh Charak.
His life was devoted to the noble mission of education, guided by the timeless values of discipline, integrity, and service to society. From the establishment of Dogra Academy in 1965 to the founding of the Dogra Educational Trust in 1994 and its institutions, his vision has left an enduring imprint on the educational landscape. Though he is no longer with us in person, his ideals continue to illuminate our path.
As we remember his legacy, we are guided by the eternal wisdom:
“विद्या ददाति विनयं, विनयाद् याति पात्रताम्।”
Knowledge bestows humility, and through humility one attains worthiness.
As Chairperson, I reaffirm our unwavering commitment to carry forward Sh. Gulchain Singh Charak ji’s vision of providing quality, value-based education rooted in cultural ethos and social responsibility. With the collective support of the Trust, faculty, staff, students, and well-wishers, we shall strive to strengthen our institutions and respond to the evolving needs of education with dedication and sincerity.
I seek the continued guidance, cooperation, and blessings of all stakeholders as we move forward together honoring the past, serving the present, and shaping the future.
